BASEBALL
Scotlandville Sports Academy participates in the Scotlandville Baseball Association USSSA League, the Recreation and Park Commission for East Baton Rouge (BREC) Junior Sports Baseball League, and several statewide Baseball tournaments. The Scotlandville Sports Academy organizes seven (7) Scotlandville Sports Academy Hornets Baseball Teams (Coaches’ Pitch, two (2) 9-10 year old Fast Pitch, two (2) 11-12 year old Fast Pitch, and two (2) 13-14-15 year old Fast Pitch) serving youth boys & girls ages 4 through 15. Baseball practice is held daily from 5:30 p.m. –7:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday at the Scotlandville - 72nd Street & the Anna T Jordan BREC Parks located in the local neighborhood. Season games are held Monday through Thursday evenings at varies Baton Rouge Recreational facilities and on Weekends for the various tournaments during the months of April through July. All of our baseball teams are now members of the United States Specialty Sports (USSSA) Baseball, a nationwide recognized youth baseball league. The United States Specialty Sports (USSSA) Baseball is one of the largest amateur baseball organization in the United States for players above junior baseball age and one of the only amateur baseball program, which provides progressive and continuous organized competition for sub teens through adults. We achieved this by working in conjunction with the Heritage Foundation of Scotlandville to form the Scotlandville Baseball Association which provides a USSSA Baseball League for ages 12 & Under and 10 & Under.  Our 15 & Under team has always participated in USSSA tournaments.

GIRLS' SOFTBALL
Scotlandville Sports Academy participates in the Recreation and Park Commission for East Baton Rouge Parish (BREC) Junior Sports Girls Softball League. The Scotlandville Sports Academy organizes one (1) Scotlandville Sports Academy Hornets Girls' Softball Teams serving youth girls ages 11 through 13. Softball practice is held daily from 5:30 p.m. –7:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday at the Scotlandville - 72nd Street BREC Park located in the local neighborhood. Season games are held Monday through Thursday evenings at varies Baton Rouge Recreational facilities.
